Ephesians 1:12 says, "Paul tells us in order that we who were the first to put our hope in Christ might be for the praise of His glory."
This tells us that because of our inheritance through salvation in Christ we place our hope not in ourselves or this world but in Christ alone. Which is made known to us through our relationship with Jesus Christ. 2020 has been a year of disconnect for all our relationships but most importantly our relationship with Christ. Through this disconnection we have learned to place our hope in ourselves instead of where it should always have been, in Christ. The scripture reminds us that our hope comes from and is in Christ alone.
He is our hope and we praise him no matter what we’re going through in our lives. We praise him for who He is and what he’s done for us.We praise him because of his goodness his faithfulness in his unfailing love for us. Most of all we praise him by doing all things for his glory. I’m praying today that this message reminds you during this season to praise him in your car, in your kitchen, at work, wherever you are. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. I pray that you praise him in all things. Merry Christmas from our family to yours.
Love, Pastor Cip
